Nereus[credits]

(wet one) Eldest child of Pontos, and a Divinity of the Waters who seems not to be a Titan or Olympian, but of a different order. He is called "the Old Man of the Sea", and is said to govern with gentle and secret wisdom. By Doris, he is the father of many, including Amphitrite.
